Reichstag
(The Imperial Parliament Building of Germany)

Berlin, Germany

The Reichstag's building, originally built in 1894 in the center of Berlin as Parliament of the German Empire, was rebuilt in 1999 following the move of the Federal Capital from Bonn to Berlin for the Lower Houses of Parliament (Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany).

The Reichstag's building has once again become the German political center and is, at the same time, one of the most important sights in Berlin. Its value is now greater than before.

On the days where the parliamentary sittings do not take place, many tourists visit the Reichstag's building and can travel in the Fujitec elevators directly to the roof story, to either the bistro or the glass dome on top of the building, from which one can overlook the whole of Berlin's center.

In total, FUJITEC has installed 22 elevators, including 6 panoramic gearless elevators, as well as 1 complete glass panorama hydraulic elevator.

Among these, the 2 gearless elevators have a carrying capacity of 4500 kg (96 mpm) to transport thousands of visitors daily.
